Man charged for allegedly assaulting girlfriend
A 25-year-old man has been charged for allegedly abusing and sexually assaulting his girlfriend in Waikiki.
Christopher W. Dingley was charged Tuesday with second-degree sexual assault. His bail is set at $50,000.
The victim, 21, reported to police that her boyfriend, identified as Dingley, abused and sexually assaulted her Sunday night.
Police located the suspect in Waikiki Monday night and arrested him on suspicion of two counts of second-degree sexual assault and one count of second-degree terroristic threatening.
Dingley has a criminal record of misdemeanor theft, terroristic threatening and abuse of a family or household member
