Nanakuli burglary suspect to appear in court
A 40-year-old man is scheduled to appear in Circuit Court Tuesday after he allegedly burglarized a 65-year-old woman’s home in Nanakuli.
Ernest S. Akau, also known as Earnest Akau, was charged Feb. 13 with first-degree burglary. He remains in custody in lieu of $50,000 bail.
The burglary occurred at about 1 p.m. Monday.
Akau has a criminal record of operating a vehicle under the influence of an intoxicant, assault, felony escape, robbery and abuse of a family or household member.
