Big Island police identified woman killed by car
Hawaii island police have identified a woman who was killed by a vehicle in Pahoa while possibly arguing in a roadway as Suzanne Hoverson, of Minneapolis, Minn.
Hoverson, 38, was struck Tuesday night by a 2006 Ford sedan being driven by a 40-year-old Pahoa woman, police said.
She may have been arguing with a male on Highway 130 near Launahele Road when she was hit, police said.
The driver was not hurt.
Police asked any witnesses to call officer Clarence Acob at 961-2329.
