Police have initiated a first-degree robbery investigation after a woman reported that a male acquaintance allegedly stole her vehicle at gunpoint in Kalihi early today.
Police said a man pointed a firearm at the victim and took her silver BMW at about 12:35 a.m.
Police recovered the vehicle near Farrington High School at about 5:15 a.m.
Suspect accused of punching vehicle window
Police arrested a 21-year-old man after he allegedly punched a window of a vehicle while two men were inside in the Ala Moana area.
Police said an altercation occurred between the suspect and the victims outside of a club at about 11:30 p.m Tuesday.
At some point, the suspect chased after the victims. Police said the two men entered a vehicle when the perpetrator punched the passenger window, causing it to shatter.
Police looking for men connected to assault
Honolulu police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two males who allegedly assaulted another male in the Ala Moana area.
Police said the culprits approached the victim as he was walking on Sheridan Street at about 9:15 p.m. on April 7. One of the assailants, who was on a bicycle, allegedly “punched the victim and pushed him to the ground.”
The other assailant attempted to take the victim’s wallet while the victim was on the ground. Police said both assailants fled in an unknown direction.
