Graduation ceremonies to snarl traffic around Blaisdell Center this week

Six high school graduation ceremonies are scheduled to be held at Blaisdell Center through Sunday.

City officials advise the public to plan for increased traffic surrounding the Neal S. Blaisdell Center due to upcoming graduation ceremonies scheduled throughout this week.

High school graduation ceremonies are scheduled for Kalani High School at Blaisdell Center at 6 p.m. Tuesday and for Waipahu High School at 6 p.m. Thursday, as well as at 1:30 and 3 p.m. Saturday for Saint Louis School and Sacred Hearts Academy, and 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Sunday for Damien Memorial School and Kamehameha Schools, respectively.

Overflow parking will be available at McKinley High School on Tuesday and Thursday. Overflow parking will be available at Straub Medical Center on Sunday.
