Delays have big impact on Oahu domestic violence cases

    Since March 2017 psychologist Kendra O’Brien has had to take off work nearly a dozen times to go to court, mostly because hearings for the temporary restraining order she filed against her husband or the criminal proceedings against him were continued. “It’s not what I expected,” she says. “I thought the process would happen faster.”
