Shark warning signs go up for second day at Pokai Bay

Warnings signs have been posted for a second day at Pokai Bay today after lifeguards spotted a shark.

Signs will remain posted until 5 p.m. today. Lifeguards will reassess the waters Wednesday morning, according to the Honolulu Ocean Safety and Lifeguard Services.

On Monday, lifeguards observed a 12-foot shark and a 14-foot shark about 50 yards from the break wall at Pokai Bay.
