This Fourth of July, find a perfect blend of American pride and the Aloha Spirit at the annual Kailua Independence Day Parade, presented by the Kailua Chamber of Commerce.
“The parade is a celebration of our nation’s independence and an opportunity for Kailua to share our aloha with everyone — family, friends, neighbors and visitors alike,” said Michael Fry, Kailua Chamber of Commerce vice president and Independence Day Parade chairman.

The parade’s theme this year, as it was last year, is “With Liberty and Aloha for All,” Fry said.
Highlights include crowd favorites the Royal Hawaiian Band and the Kukui High Alumni Marching Band, plus military and veterans marching units, horses, youth and senior groups, and community leaders.
After the parade, hang out around town for the popular Fourth of July Kailua Fireworks & Air Show, which starts 5:45 p.m. at Kailua Beach Park.
