S’MORES FUN FRAME
Supplies and tools needed:
>> 6-inch by 4-inch horizontal acrylic frame
>> 2 pieces of 3/4-inch by 7-inch Foamies craft foam (cocoa brown)
>> Hearty air dry clay (white)
>> Ceramcoat acrylic paint (espresso brown and khaki)
>> Thin paintbrush
>> Sharpie permanent marker (black)
>> Low-temperature glue gun or tacky glue
Instructions:
Take about a 2 1/2-inch piece of white clay and roll it into two balls. Take each ball and roll into a log about 10 inches long.
Take one log and place along the top and left side of the front of the frame. Take the other log and place along the bottom and up the right side of the frame. Press and make ends blend into each other.
Slightly flatten clay around the frame and shape. The clay is the “marshmallow” of the S’mores. Let dry.
Take the two pieces of craft foam and rub a little of the khaki-colored paint on the surface. This will make the color resemble the graham crackers. Let dry.
When the clay is dry to touch, glue one foamie strip along the top of the frame on the clay and one along the very bottom for the “graham crackers.”
Using the espresso-colored paint and a thin paint brush, paint in the “chocolate” along the bottom of the frame’s clay and foam. Let dry.
In permanent marker, write a catchy message along the top foam like “Let’s have S’more Fun!”
