Interstellar intruder long gone but still offering surprises

An artist’s rendering shows an interstellar object named ‘Oumuamua, which was discovered on Oct. 19 by the Pan-STARRS 1 telescope in Hawaii. In the June 27 edition of the journal Nature, a European-led team made the case it is a comet, not an asteroid.
