‘Iolani’s Jacob Torres shot a 2-over-par 70 and is at 148 after Tuesday’s second round of the U.S. Junior Amateur in Springfield, N.J.
Torres, who played the Baltusrol Golf Club’s Lower Course on Tuesday, is tied for 62nd and will be in a playoff today for the final match-play berths.
Former Oahu resident Kelly Chinn of Virginia finished atop the qualifying at 133.
