ALL TOGETHER NOW: With the help of the many attendants, an Ofunehoko float makes a turn July 24 in Kyoto, as part of the city’s Gion Festival. The second part of the festival, called Atomatsuri, featured 10 gorgeous Yamahoko floats parading through the streets. The first part of the festival, called Sakimatsuri, took place July 17.
