Prima facie evidence the Star-Advertiser advocates progressive ideology was displayed in the Labor Day editorial, “Wages don’t keep pace with costs” (Our View, Sept 3).

You refused to mention an improved “Trump economy” and historic unemployment rates within all social strata. You never mentioned record stock markets bringing enormous gains to public-sector employee retirement systems. You did not mention one reason for high health-insurance costs: Obamacare mandates, which I experienced as a board member of an NGO.

Wages are increasing and job opportunities are wide open for all business sectors. Have you been to Walmart lately to see middle-class folks with disposable income? Our economy is back. Could it be you are depressed since it happened under President Donald Trump?
