Man wanted for questioning in Hawaii island shooting
Hawaii County police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 36-year-old Puna man, wanted for questioning in a Sept. 1 shooting in Mountain View.
Patrol officers were called to Mountain View at about 9:30 a.m. Sept. 2 on a report of multiple gunshots fired by a man into the hood and windshield of a vehicle with two occupants inside.
No one was injured, police said.
The man wanted for questioning, David Cordeiro, is 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 180 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair.
Police said Cordeiro is considered armed and dangerous and advises the public not to approach him.
Police have formed a task force to arrest him.

Anyone spotting him or know his whereabouts is asked to call the police non-emergency number at 935-3311 or call 911.
