The Honolulu Medical Examiner’s Office has identified a 24-year-old Waianae man who died in a moped crash in Wahiawa over the weekend as Allen K.H. Conrad Jr. of Waianae.
Police said a man later identified as Conrad was traveling northbound on Wilikina Drive at a high rate of speed when he lost control near Kamananui Road at approximately 8 p.m. Saturday. He was thrown onto the roadway from his moped.
Police said another moped rider, a 24-year-old Nanakuli man, who was traveling near Conrad was also thrown onto the roadway after he lost control when he could not avoid the crash.
