Thank goodness a public park is being built on Hamakua Drive in Kailua for all to enjoy, and not another “affordable” condo for money-seeking investors (“Dogs will be welcomed at a state-of-the-art public park planned for Kailua,” Star-Advertiser, Oct. 3).
Our islands are drastically changing from being local to being an investor’s paradise. When will it stop? When will someone say, “Enough is enough,” and build more parks and waterways for all people to enjoy?
