Woman hurt in crash near Sea Life Park

A woman in her 50s was transported to a hospital in serious condition following a moped accident near Sea Life Park Tuesday morning, according to Emergency Medical Services.

At about 7:45 a.m., the woman was riding her moped on Kalanianaole Highway near the park at Makapuu when she collided with a large pickup truck, EMS said. The woman was not wearing a helmet and suffered head and back injuries.
