The Rainbow Wahine celebrate after scoring a point against CSUN tonight.

Senior middle Sarah Liva put down a career-high-tying 12 kills to lead four players in double-figure kills and Hawaii kept Cal State Northridge winless in 13 trips to Honolulu, defeating the Matadors 25-18, 17-25, 25-20, 25-20 in a Big West volleyball match tonight at the Stan Sheriff Center.

Senior hitter Casey Castillo and junior middle Natasha Burns each added 12 kills for the Rainbow Wahine (11-6, 7-1). Senior hitter McKenna Granato had 11 kills and 12 digs for her eighth double-double of the season and senior libero Tita Akiu had 18 digs for her 16th match in double digits.

CSUN (6-13, 2-5) got 13 kills from senior hitter Aeryn Owens, who surpassed 1,400 for her career (1,402). She also had 10 digs. Senior libero Kristey Markle finished with a match-high 20 digs.
