Teen pedestrian struck on Farrington Highway

A 14-year-old female pedestrian struck by a vehicle on Farrington Highway this afternoon received “advanced life-saving medical care,” according to Emergency Medical Services personnel.

EMS said the teen was struck at about 2:30 p.m. at Farrington and Kaulokalani Place, and she sustained head, leg and arm injuries. The girl was taken to a hospital in serious condition.

No further information was immediately available.
