Over the past weekend, the Star-Advertiser printed a Letter to the Editor that amounted to an endorsement of Marilyn Lee as a candidate for House District 36 (“Endorsement of Lee appreciated,” Star-Advertiser, Oct. 20).
As a longtime Mililani resident, I appreciate her past service to our community. However, the candidate who best represents the conservative values of the families in Mililani is Val Okimoto. Val has a long record of active community service. She has fresh ideas and a tireless enthusiasm to make Mililani a better place to live.
