Heavy rain floods roads; 2 injured in rockfall

Drivers veered into oncoming lanes looking for the shallow spots on flooded Queen Street in Kakaako Tuesday. Heavy rain drenched Oahu, which was under a flash flood warning for most of the day.

As rain pounded Waikiki Tuesday, only a few people ventured outside. Dhruvi Patel braved the rain and wind along Kalakaua Avenue. She said the weather was fine because she is from Denver where it snows a lot.
