Oh wow, Cal Thomas. Such a novel idea: Try a little kindness (“Both sides of political divide should try a little kindness,” Star-Advertiser, Oct. 30).
Ever since Donald Trump began spouting off his rude insults at the very beginning of his campaign, I said his style would bring all the cockroaches out of the woodwork — and so it has. Now, Thomas suggests a little kindness?
Too late, brah. Once that Pandora’s box is opened, it’s open season for crazies. It’s always been that way, but civil people keep a lid on things. Not Trump. He wants to live a non-PC life, fine, but it is extremely dangerous to indulge himself as he has at the national level.
