Pahoa Police Station phones operating normally after outage

    The Pahoa Police Station phone lines are temporarily down this morning.

The Pahoa Police Station at 349 Kapiolani Street in Hilo is once again reachable by telephone after its phone lines were down most of the day Saturday.

The Hawaii Police Department issued a statement saying all lines were out of service at 9:02 a.m. Saturday.

The station’s phones were back up by 5:25 p.m., according to the department.
