Four women safely escaped a Manoa house fire Tuesday night.
Ten units with nearly 40 firefighters responded to the blaze at the two-story home at 1835 Vancouver Drive at approximately 9:30 p.m. When they arrived, they observed the second floor of the home fully engulfed in flames, according to Honolulu Fire Spokesman Capt. Scot Seguirant in a news release.
The four women who were in the residence at the time of the fire safely escaped the structure.
Firefighters brought the fire under control at 10:18 p.m. and extinguished it just before 11:25 p.m.
No injuries were reported.
Seguirant said the cause of the fire and a damage estimate to the home and its contents have yet to be determined.
