The Star-Advertiser published a picture and caption of a traffic accident that closed the Brooklyn Bridge in New York for an hour, causing congestion on surrounding roads (“Deadly collision blocks bridge,” Star-Advertiser, Nov. 22). It was reported that one death and several injuries resulted from the accident.
Wow! Only one hour.
If the Honolulu Police Department had to do the investigation, the bridge would have been closed for at least five or six hours.
