State transportation officials advised motorists that filming on Oahu’s North Shore on Friday will result in temporary stoppages on Kamehameha Highway.

Special-duty police officers will conduct intermittent traffic control of anywhere between one to five minutes from 4 p.m. to midnight on Friday, on Kamehameha Highway between Sunset Beach Park and Waihuena Farms at 59-414 Kamehameha Highway.

State officials did not say which production was filming on Oahu’s North Shore. Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Entertainment are currently on Oahu, filming the sequel to their monster movies, “Godzilla vs. Kong” in Hawaii through at least December.

Motorists are advised to account for extra travel time and to use smartphone apps to plan their commutes. The film production has been asked to limit the number of stoppages if there is an excessive backup of traffic.
