Closures and waivers honor George H.W. Bush
President Donald Trump has declared Wednesday a national day of mourning for former President George H.W. Bush, who died Friday at age 94.
Trump issued an executive order closing federal offices Wednesday, except those that must stay open for national security, defense or other essential public business.
The U.S. Postal Service will suspend regular mail delivery Wednesday as well as close its retail locations.
Nasdaq and the New York Stock Exchange also will be closed.
Hawai‘i Volcanoes National Park on the Big Island and Haleakala National Park on Maui will waive entry fees today in honor of Bush.
