Watch a screening of “Elf” and take in a performance by Ben & Maila — great ways to celebrate the holiday season! — and squeeze in some shopping, too, at Sunset Mele and Night Market Friday at the Hawai‘i Convention Center.
The free community event showcases an artisan workshop, local grinds and drinks and a pop-up marketplace. Other featured entertainers at the event include Karlie G., Evan Khay and Keilana, Kamanawa and Kawika Kahiapo. The family-friendly “Elf” flick will be shown 6 p.m. at the Convention Center’s Liliu Theater 310.
It’s the “perfect opportunity to do some holiday shopping and support nearly 70 (local retail and food) vendors in our pop-up marketplace,” said Michellee Phelps, communications and special events manager at the convention center.
