Recently we recognized the anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor and the sinking of the battleship USS Arizona. The Arizona Memorial’s loading dock is now scheduled for repair sometime in March 2019, after being damaged in May of this year.
People come from all over the world to visit the memorial and pay their respects.
The disturbing thing is that our elected representatives to Congress are not banging on the doors of the Pentagon, National Park Service and other government agencies to get the repair done now.
Instead one is getting her moment of fame by telling men to “step up.” A second is campaigning in New Hampshire and the remaining are numb and voiceless.
Their priorities are wrong.
