Man charged for burglarizing Mililani home

Prosecutors charged a 40-year-old man for burglarizing a home in Mililani.

Boniface S.K. Aiu, also known as Boniface Aiu III, was charged Wednesday with first-degree burglary. His bail is set at $50,000.

Police said a suspect later identified as Aiu unlawfully entered the home of a 74-year-old woman in Mililani at approximately 12:30 p.m. on Dec. 3 and caused damage

It’s unclear what type of damage occurred.

Police arrested him in Nanakuli Tuesday night on suspicion of burglary.

Aiu has a criminal record of burglary, promoting a dangerous drug, unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle, theft, drug paraphernalia, abuse of a family or household member, assault and harassment.
