Ariana Hernandez scored 21 points for the Hawks (0-9, 0-4).

The Hawks’ Alonzo Taylor hit two free throws with one second remaining for the final margin.
Holy Names’ Andre Green hit a 3-pointer with 10 seconds left to tie it at 59.
HPU committed a turnover on the ensuing possession and fouled Taylor.
Ronald Blain scored 13 points and Darnell Bettis added 12 for the Sharks (3-4, 1-3 PacWest), who led 55-48 with 1:38 left.
Taylor finished with 26 points for the Hawks (3-6, 2-2).
5 sign with Hawaii Hilo women’s soccer
Hawaii Hilo women’s soccer coach Gene Okamura on Wednesday announced the signing of five players for next season.
The players are Hollie Saplan (Hilo High), Jasmin Acosta (Riverside, Calif.), Sophia Dent (La Mesa, Calif.), Izabella Gregory (Chula Vista, Calif.) and Vivien Mikes (San Diego).
Saplan, a midfielder, is a three-time All-BIIF selection. She finished with 11 assists and four goals last season.
