Kekaha Beach closed to Kauai swimmers after reported shark sighting
Kekaha Beach has been closed to swimmers until further notice after Kauai Ocean Safety officials spotted a shark.
Lifeguards reported seeing a roughly 8-foot shark offshore this morning.
Signs have been posted at the beach, which will be closed until Sunday morning. Kauai lifeguards will reassess the situation before deciding whether to reopen the beach.
