Police arrested a 31-year-old woman after she allegedly assaulted her 12-year-old daughter in Waianae.
Police said the assault occurred from Nov. 24 to Dec. 12. The victim sustained a bruise to her face and a puncture wound to her left armpit.
A cup and an ink pen were allegedly used in the attack.
Police arrested the assailant Wednesday on suspicion of two counts of second-degree assault and two counts of criminal contempt of court.
