It amazing that the Star-Advertiser couldn’t get to the point of the article about Jared Kushner’s bill that was lauded without first listing a whole host of perceived faults and conflicts that had nothing to do with the reason for the article (“Kushner’s work on justice bill lauded,” Washington Briefly, Star-Advertiser, Dec. 18). Kushner achieved a bipartisan win but the paper could not simply say “well done”; no, it had to besmirch his character first.
The Star-Advertiser should take some advice from its own “A Kinder, Gentler Time” item that asks letter writers, in the spirit of the holiday season, to write in about kindness.
Should we write about kindness and generosity for all or just for some?
