2 men in serious condition after separate pedestrian accidents on Oahu

Emergency Medical Services responded to two separate pedestrian accidents that occurred near the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport and in McCully this morning.

A 70-year-old man was reportedly struck by a vehicle near the intersection of Rodgers Boulevard and Kamehameha Highway at approximately 6:15 a.m.

EMS treated and took him to a trauma hospital in serious condition.

Within two hours, a second pedestrian accident occurred near the intersection of South King and McCully streets.

EMS said a 56-year-old man sustained injuries after he was struck by a vehicle just before 8 a.m.

He was also taken to a trauma hospital in serious condition.
