Woman, 36, allegedly stabs another woman during Kapolei argument

A 36-year-old woman who allegedly stabbed a 43-year-old woman on Christmas Day in Kapolei remained in custody today awaiting charges.

Emergency Medical Services transported the older woman Tuesday afternoon from a Kapolei address to the hospital in serious condition after she was apparently stabbed.

However, police said the woman’s condition improved to stable condition.

EMS personnel responded to a report of an injured woman on Lauwiliwili Street. They treated the woman for apparent stab wounds.

Police dispatch said EMS notified police and that the original call came from the Fastenal Co., an industrial fastener supplies company located at 2016 Lauwiliwili St.

Police said the woman was taken to the Queen’s Medical Center.

The stabbing occurred at 3:55 p.m. Tuesday following an argument that escalated.

The 36-year-old was arrested at 5:20 p.m. on suspicion of second-degree attempted murder.
