Beth Chapman, left, and Duane Chapman arrive at the CMT Music Awards at Bridgestone Arena, in Nashville, Tenn., in 2014.

A couple of Nevada residents are suing to evict the people living in Duane “Dog” Chapman’s Portlock home because Chapman and his wife have allegedly defaulted on their house payments.

Karen and Craig Mills filed a lawsuit in First Circuit Court Wednesday claiming Chapman, his wife, Beth Chapman, and other unnamed defendants owe $109,000 in expenses related to a home the Chapmans purchased from the Mills at 558 Portlock Road. The balance owed is for unpaid monthly payments, utilities, property taxes and insurance premiums.

Chapman, of the Hawaii-based television reality show “Dog the Bounty Hunter,” lives part-time in Hawaii and has homes in other states, the court document said.

According to the document, the Chapmans agreed to buy the Portlock home from the Mills for $2.8 million around Jan. 1, 2015. While the Chapmans never signed an “agreement of sale,” they made payments in partial compliance with the agreement of sale document. The Mills are asking the court to have the sales document voided.

The Chapmans defaulted on payments, failed to pay the amount due and “have refused to vacate the Portlock Property,” the lawsuit said.

The Mills seek to have the Chapmans ejected from the property and pay an undisclosed amount for damages and attorneys’ fees.
