Letter: Kids more mature than politicians

When my daughter was in fourth grade, she and her best friend had a disagreement and refused to talk to each other. After several days, the girl’s mother and I sat them down together and made them tell each other how they felt. The short discussion settled their feud and ended with them hugging each other, leading to a lifelong friendship.

It’s too bad our president and our speaker of the House cannot be as mature as 10-year-old children.
