Why aren’t more members of Congress refusing to accept their pay during the shutdown, while others are not receiving pay and some are being forced to work without pay?
Just as important, why isn’t the Star-Advertiser harping on this issue so that it gets the exposure it should?
Don’t buy the argument that they can’t refuse their pay. At minimum, they could donate it to people who are in need because of the shutdown.
