Wild Aloha Foundation throws party for the pangolin

    Kids can expect finger-painting fun at the Pangolin Party.

    The Pangolin Party will raise awareness about the pangolin, an endangered species that’s known as the “scaly anteater.” It’s covered with scales made of keratin, the same tough protein that human fingernails and toenails and the hooves and horns of various animals are made of.

This might be a first in Hawaii: a party for an honoree that few of the guests have heard of before. Read more
