Kudos to the University of Hawaii at Manoa for its No. 5 ranking among research institutions producing the most 2018-2019 Fulbright U.S. scholars. Six scholars were tapped at the UH’s flagship campus to take part, either as a researcher or teacher, in the federal government’s prestigious international educational exchange program, Their areas of expertise include biology, environmental engineering, philosophy, English, Asian Studies, and Second Language Studies.
UH-Manoa, along with the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA), University of Notre Dame, Ohio State and Texas State tied for the No. 5 spot. The University of South Florida produced the most scholars this year, 12.
