President Donald Trump and the Republican Party proclaimed that the trillion-dollar tax cut that they passed would benefit the taxpayers. Workers were happy to see a small increase in their take-home pay every paycheck.
The truth has now come out, with tax filers finding out that it was a sleight of hand. While they took home more, their tax refunds were a lot smaller or they’re paying an increase in taxes.
