There is no minimum age requirement to participate in the He‘eia Estuary Restoration Project. Families are welcome to come and volunteer, but children under the age of 16 need to have a chaperone. Kids 16 or 17 years old may attend without a chaperone but will need to have their legal guardian sign a waiver, which they can bring on the workday.
