Have we already forgotten the main democratic principle our grandfathers, fathers and uncles fought and died for in World War II? Fascism begins when government disguises or hides the truth from its citizens.
Too many U.S. Senate Republicans, it seems, don’t yet understand the need for transparency when it comes to informing the voting public about our government’s recent actions.
What are these Republicans afraid of? If there is still the belief that the Robert Mueller investigation is a “witch hunt,” then release the full findings of the Mueller report to the public and let the facts speak for themselves. Let the voting public decide what the truth is. I feel insulted that so many in publicly elected office act as if we, the voting public, don’t have the intelligence to handle the truth.
Or maybe it’s these same Republican Senators who are afraid of a truth that will prove who the liars and generators of “fake news” really are.
