Police arrest Kalihi shooting suspect
Police arrested this afternoon a 27-year-old man who allegedly shot an acquaintance in the leg on Sunday in Kalihi.
Police made the arrest at 2:45 p.m. in Maili. He was arrested on suspicion of second-degree attempted murder and weapons charges.
The 27-year-old allegedly shot a 22-year-old man twice in the leg at about 3:30 p.m. Sunday at a Waiakamilo Road address.
The victim was taken by a relative to the hospital where he was in stable condition.
