Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott scored against the Los Angeles Rams during the second half of an NFL playoff game on Jan. 12 in Los Angeles. The Rams confirmed today that they will play the Cowboys in a preseason game on Aug. 17 at Aloha Stadium.

The Los Angeles Rams confirmed today that they will play the Dallas Cowboys in a preseason game Saturday, Aug. 17 at Aloha Stadium.

Tickets are now available on TheRams.com/Hawaii and can be purchased at Aloha Stadium.

Rams’ President and Chief Operating Officer Kevin Demoff made the announcement in conjunction with the Hawaii Tourism Authority at a news conference this morning.

It will be the first preseason game matching NFL teams in Hawaii since 1976 when the San Francisco 49ers and San Diego Chargers played at then-year old Aloha Stadium.

In November the HTA and the Rams signed a partnership agreement setting up the game here as well as giving the HTA marketing and media opportunities with the team in southern California, the HTA’s largest visitor market.

According to contracts obtained under the state’s open records law, the Rams will underwrite travel and expenses for both teams and receive a flat $2 million from the HTA.
