Police search for suspect in Kaneohe armed robbery

Police said a suspect brandished a black semiautomatic handgun at an adult female employee at the establishment along Kamehameha Highway at about 12:35 a.m. today and demanded cash.

Honolulu police are looking for an adult male suspect in connection with an armed robbery at a store in Kaneohe.

Police said the suspect brandished a black semiautomatic handgun at an adult female employee at the establishment along Kamehameha Highway at about 12:35 a.m. today and demanded cash.

He fled on foot with an unknown amount of cash taken from the register.

Police described the suspect as a male in his 30s, approximately 6 feet tall and 260 to 280 pounds. He was also described as having a beard.

Police said the perpetrator was wearing a black sweater and beanie at the time of the robbery.
