On March 6 at approximately 3:00 a.m., an individual crashed a burning vehicle into the Tropical Lamp and Shade Company business. The suspect then jumped from the flaming vehicle into the back of a black pickup truck and fled in an unknown direction.

Police are searching for a suspect who allegedly drove a car engulfed in flames toward a Kakaako business.
Honolulu police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect who drove a car engulfed in flames toward a storefront in Kakaako.
Police said the perpetrator drove the vehicle toward Tropical Lamp & Shade Co. on Queen St. at about 3 a.m. on March 6.
The suspect jumped out of the car and into the bed of a black pickup truck. Police said the truck fled in an unknown direction.
A surveillance video captured the suspect steering the flaming car toward the store.
Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call 911.
