The city Department of Parks and Recreation wants to start work on the Waimanalo Bay Beach Park Master Plan in Bellows. It includes a soccer field, baseball field and football field.

Meanwhile at Waimanalo District Park, the sports field is not usable because of soil problems. It sits unused. This plan is a maintenance nightmare. Some parts make sense, but the sports fields are unnecessary. The plan was shown to our community in 2012. Since then Waimanalo has had many changes, and different needs. The city needs to present this plan to us again for our feedback.
