>> A January 2016 Circuit Court ruling that the state does not have authority to issue water collection permits with a term exceeding one year was focused on Alexander &Baldwin permits but had legal implications for others. An editorial on Page A10 Thursday omitted that the ruling was narrowly focused.

>> The Honolulu Police Commission voted for the first time May 20 to reject paying former Police Chief Louis Kealoha’s attorneys’ fees in a federal criminal case connected to the reported theft of his mailbox. It previously voted to reject paying Kealoha for attorneys’ fees tied to a related civil case. A story on Page B1 Thursday contained inaccurate information.

>> George Clinton and his Parliament Funkadelic team will be performing at Blue Note Hawaii four nights beginning Thursday. A story on Page D1 Thursday inaccurately reported the number of nights.

>> The walk-in polling site at Honolulu Hale is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. until April 12, and 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on April 13. The polling place is closed Sunday. A story on Page B2 Thursday contained inaccurate information.
